Wachablösung beim VfR Garching im Sommer 2019

Mit Daniel Weber verlässt der langjährige Erfolgscoach und VfR-Entwickler sein „Lebenswerk“. In jedem seiner 12 Trainerjahre vermochte er Mannschaft und Verein zu formen und weiter zu entwickeln.

In Philipp Bönig hoffen die VfR-Verantwortlichen den richtigen Nachfolger gefunden zu haben. Genau wie sein Vorgänger zu Anbeginn seiner Tätigkeit beim VfR Garching, ist der neue Trainer nach Beendigung einer sehr erfolgreichen aktiven Karriere nun bereit, diesen Weg auf der anderen Seite der Seitenlinie weiter zu gehen.

Philipp Bönig: „Mich hat es extrem gefreut, als die Anfrage vom VfR Garching kam. Es ist nicht selbstverständlich, wenn man ein junger Trainer ist und gerade die ersten Schritte im Herrenbereich gemacht hat, dass gleich so eine große Anfrage kommt.“

„Großes Dankeschön, Gratulation und Respekt an die Leistung von Daniel Weber. Es ist sensationell, was er hier aufgebaut hat und über Jahre geleistet hat. Daher möchte ich meine größte Anerkennung los werden. Es wird natürlich schwer sein, die Fußstapfen zu füllen. Aber ich muss meine eigenen Schritte setzen und natürlich das bestmögliche mit den Jungs da raus holen.“, so der neue VfR-Steuermann.

Und weiter: „Ich habe schnell ein Gefühl dafür entwickelt, wie hier gearbeitet wird und wie hier weiter gearbeitet werden soll. Auch im  Sinne vom Daniel. Überwiegend mit jungen Spielern zu arbeiten und sie weiter zu entwickeln. Das denke ich ist hervorragend und genau dass, was ich auch will.“

Willkommens-Geschenk von Garmin

Die Vorstellung des neuen VfR-Trainers fand in den Geschäftsräumen der Fa. Garmin statt. Garmin, Namensgeber des Garchinger Stadions bildete einen würdigen Rahmen für die von Vorstand Uwe Cygan einberufene Pressekonferenz.

Kai Tutschke, Geschäftsführer Garmin für Deutschland, Österreich und die Schweiz war ebenfalls vor Ort und machte sich persönlich ein Bild der neuen Garchinger Führungsriege. Schließlich ist nicht nur der Trainer neu. Auch Sportdirektor Ludwig Trifellner ist erst wenige Wochen Mitglied der VfR-Familie und bereits gut in die Strukturen der Fußballabteilung eingebunden.

Im Anschluss an den öffentlichen Teil des Termins, überreichte Marketing Managerin Sabine Weinkauf dem künftigen Trainer eine hochwertige Smart-Watch aus eigenen Hause. Diese Uhren sind bekannt für ihre hohe Qualität, Vielseitigkeit und Langlebigkeit. Wir nehmen das einfach mal als wegweisende Maßnahme.
